Great news

Got some great news yesterday.
I sent of some more card and wax pieces to get cast, just to be sure that they worked again and the first one wasn't just a fluke.

AND....

they worked again!

I sent three pieces off, a small one for possible earrings, a ring and a curved piece.

I will upload photos tomorrow :)
and hoping to send a range of rings off on friday. Some to be cast in silver and some in brass!

can i make honey?

Playing around with some clear casting resin... i added an orange pigment to give it the effect of honey!

I really don't like the resin on the natural honeycomb it takes away everything natural about it!
but i do like the effect it gives to the card and bees wax piece that i made.
It really makes it look like there is honey inside the hexagonal shapes... also it adds strength to them.
